Editorial
The Journal of Cybernetics and Informatics is published in English in 2 issues per annum by the Slovak Society for Cybernetics and Informatics (SSKI) seated at the Department of Automatic Control Systems FEI STU, Ilkovičova 3, 812 19 Bratislava.
All papers are reviewed before publication. Responsibility for the contents of all published papers and letters rests upon the author and not upon the editors of the SSKI.
The abstracts and full text of all papers are available in the electronic form to all interested readers (http://www.sski.sk/casopis/index.php - home page).
The Journal of Cybernetics and Informatics has been published in the new electronic form since 2003. This e-Journal follows the long-year tradition of the „paper journal“ Cybernetics and Informatics published by SSKI (then seated at Slovak Academy of Science) from 1965 to 2001. The new electronic form of publication has been inspired by developments of new information technologies and new advanced publication form for scientific research results in the fields of Control Engineering and Applied Industrial Informatics.
The Journal aims at providing space to publish latest results in reasonable time horizon. It should serve for the whole control engineering community, researchers from universities and research institutes as well as practitioners from companies. The papers from international and domestic conferences are invited for publication as well; to be published they should be prepared in accordance with journal specifications.
The scope of the Journal of Cybernetics and Informatics includes new control algorithms and methods for dynamical systems, discrete event and hybrid systems, agent systems, intelligent systems, kinematical systems; diagnostics, real-time control problems, information and communication systems for practical implementation of methods and control systems.
